The 2017/18 season is nearly underway, and to ensure it's your best yet we've improved and refined the fix site over the summer break. Here's a list of all the feature improvements you can look forward to.
Our headline feature for 2017/18 is the Custom Stats Builder. You can choose from over 270 stats, all conveniently grouped into categories such as the Bonus Points System (BPS). These stats can be filtered by gameweek, team, player position and even the detailed player starting position (e.g. if you wanted to only consider full backs). You can filter by player ownership and price, and the data is presented in both tabular and graphical form. You can select customised charts to plot (e.g. shots vs goals) and all stats can be plotted against player price in a single click, to help identify the best value players. This feature has been improved and renamed from the previous Transfer Trends, and is now a free feature. The key improvement is the presentation of top transfer statistics for the current gameweek, and the ability to drill down into transfer combinations. So, for example, if Lukaku heads the number of transfers in, you can click the + icon to check which players are being sold to buy Lukaku. You can view Transfer Stats here.
The Comparison matrix now has the ability to select the detailed player starting position. This enables you, for example, to compare Sanchez as a forward versus Sanchez as an attacking midfielder. You can view the Comparison Matrix here.
A new feature for 2017/18, the bandwagon rating tells you which players have had recent rapid changes in ownership. It is defined as the ratio of transfers in the last day compared to the last week, so is less sensitive to overall player ownership. It is included as part of the Price Change Predictor page here. You can also now set up bandwagon email alerts here.
Price change email alerts are now free for 2017/18 and can be activated by clicking here.
Part of our Assistant Manager feature, the new Chip Assistant analyses your predicted gameweek, bench and captain score to provide advice on playing the Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain chips. You can view Assistant Manager here.
Chip statistics are now included as part of the FPL Statistics feature. You can view this here.
The Custom Squad Planner enables you to plan your squad for future gameweeks, and has had a significant UX improvement, as any players dragged and dropped now autocomplete for all future gameweeks. Look out for the icon in the bottom left corner of the Assistant Manager and Predicted Points & Stats features to use the Custom Squad Planner.
Gameweek Live has had 2 feature improvements for 2017/18. You can now view live in play statistics for both the top 1k, 10k and 100k. Rivals are now also integrated with Gameweek Live, giving you a summary of your nearest rivals total points compared to you. You can view Gameweek Live here.
These features all now have the ability to set a custom gameweek start and end range, so you can, for example, plan rotations weeks in advance with a future wildcard in mind.
