Benrahma and H. Barnes were both popular options going into gameweek one and their performances are compared using the Fix Heatmaps feature. As the below touch map shows, the Algerian occupied more central positions than the Englishman who spent most of the game on the left-wing. 

The Average Attacking Radar indicates that Benrahma's attacking output significantly dwarfed that of H. Barnes, with the latter matching him only for shots on target and losing out on every other metric. 

This is backed up by the Attacking Stats, Benrahma took three shots compared to just one for H. Barnes and the West Ham man also created one 'big chance'. The Algerian's total Expected goal involvement (Expected Goals + Expected assists) was 0.86 compared to just 0.05 for the Englishman.
