In this blog, the Algorithm Squad from our Big Data: Team Reveal feature is analysed. The squad is built using players projected to return the highest points total over the next five gameweeks. The tool also has team reveals for the Highest Owned Players, Expert Managers and a Differential Team.
As the Stats Sandbox image above shows, Brentford are ranked second for 'Expected Goals' (xG) conceded since the restart (4.04) behind only Newcastle which makes Raya at 4.7 the best value goalkeeper in the game.
Chelsea have kept three clean sheets over the last five gameweeks and no player has featured for more minutes for the Blues this season than T. Silva (1613). As the above image from our FPL Statistics shows, the Brazilian international is owned by just 4.6% of the top 1000. Shaw also makes the XI with Man. Utd's defence ranked fourth for xG conceded (4.98) since the restart. Newcastle are yet to concede a goal after the World Cup and no player across all positions has created more chances than Trippier (25) over that period.
Arsenal are ranked second on the Fixture Planner for the next six gameweeks which sees the Algorithm triple up on their midfield with Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard all making the XI. Odegaard (18), Rashford (17) and Martinelli (16) are the top three midfielders for shots since the restart and are all available at bargain prices.
As the Stats Sandbox image above shows, no forward has taken more shots than Kane (23) over the last five gameweeks with Haaland (22) close behind. Toney (2.77) is ranked fifth amongst forwards for xG and has scored three goals in four appearances. As the below image shows, the Brentford striker is the fourth highest projected forward over the next five gameweeks and with the Algorithm preferring an Arsenal triple-up in midfield over Nketiah, he is the third forward in the Algorithm XI.
