Chelsea, Liverpool, Man. Utd, Leeds, Brighton and Palace have all had their fixtures postponed for gameweek eight and in this blog the teams with the best fixtures for the next few weeks are determined using our Fixture Analyser.

What is immediately noticeable at the bottom of the ticker is that the six teams which blank in gameweek eight also have difficult fixtures in the following weeks. Liverpool play Arsenal and Man. City in two of their next three while Man. Utd play Man. City, Chelsea and Spurs in their next six. Brighton also have a difficult run with matchups against Liverpool, Spurs and Man. City. Hence moving away from these teams looks a good idea for the short term and not just gameweek eight.

Villa, Fulham, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Leicester are at the top of the Fixture Analyser and all these teams have several attractive budget options. As the below image from our Rotation Planner shows, rotating two budget assets from Fulham and West Ham such as A. Pereira and Emerson provides an excellent run of fixtures all the way to gameweek 15 while providing squad depth at the same time.

A look at the Stats Sandbox image below shows that Newcastle and Fulham are posting decent 'Expected Goals' (xG) figures but Villa, Bournemouth and Leicester are in the bottom three which makes investment in their assets less appealing, despite the brilliant fixture run. Teams such as Spurs and Everton look more appealing keeping the xG numbers in mind while reading the fixtures.
