The Fix Assistant Manager feature is a powerful tool which can be customised to generate a Wildcard team for the next five Gameweeks, and the emphasis on a strong bench can also be factored in if required. With the above Customisations and a 0% percent emphasis on substitutes, the tool has generated the below ideal Wildcard team.

Goalkeepers

The Fix Algorithm prefers the rotating pair of Areola and Johnstone between the sticks, both keepers are reasonably priced and as the below image from our Rotation Planner shows, this provides a great run of fixtures over the next eight Gameweeks with no games against last season's top eight sides. The two keepers have kept five clean sheets between them over the first nine Gameweeks and can be relied upon for saves and bonus points.

Defence

The Algorithm favours double ups on the Arsenal and Palace defence with Tsimikas also featuring. As the below image shows, from the ‘Optimal Player Rotation Strategy’ within the Assistant Manager page, this allows the Arsenal pair of Gabriel and Saliba to be benched for their difficult away fixture to Newcastle in Gameweek 11 while Tsimikas can be benched away to Man. City in Gameweek 12. One Arsenal defender can also be benched away to Brentford in Gameweek 13 which could prove to be a tricky fixture. Palace and Arsenal have both kept four clean sheets apiece and can be relied upon defensively.

Analyse team’s upcoming fixtures.

As the above image from our Fixture Analyser shows, Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Brighton have a great run of fixtures over the next six Gameweeks and the Algorithm prefers a midfield of Saka, Salah, Bowen, Mitoma and Gross from these teams. No midfielder has scored more goals (seven) than Salah this campaign and Bowen is close behind with six. The duo also feature in the top five for shots on target (SoT) (14 and 13). Saka is the Gunners' top scoring midfield FPL asset with 58 points and Mitoma (44) leads the way amongst Brighton midfielders. The Japanese international is tied with Gross (16) for chances created for the Seagulls.

Forwards

The Top two points scoring forwards, Watkins (70) and Haaland (63), make the cut with Archer a bench option. As the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, Haaland (34) and Watkins (29) lead the way for shots amongst strikers and have been afforded 21 'big chances' between them.
