Son's halftime substitution in the Europa League bodes well for his starting prospects this weekend, the South Korean is still Spurs' second highest scorer with four goals despite missing a large chunk of the season due to injury. He has also been their most creative player with no Spurs player registering more 'big chances' created (five) or 'Expected Assists' (xA) (2.67).
Spurs are the league's top scorers with 22 goals, only Man. City (198) have attempted more shots than their 172 while they trail only Liverpool (20.78) and Man. City (21.77) for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (20.00).

Meanwhile, as the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, no midfielder has been afforded more 'big chances' (11) or registered a higher xG tally (5.80) than the Egyptian international.
Liverpool have found the back of the net 19 times this season (fourth) and are top of the league for 'big chances' (37) while only Man. City (21.77) have registered a higher xG than their 20.78.
Their opponents Villa have conceded 15 goals (13th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Birmingham side are third for shots in the box conceded (68) and fifth for xGC (13.20).

Despite a daunting fixture list, Wolves have scored 14 goals (ninth) but the Midlands outfit are ranked just 19th for shots in the box (74) and xG (11.36).
