Headliner – Erling Haaland (BOU)

Haaland’s brace against Man. Utd. made it five goals in the last six Gameweeks for the Norwegian international, no forward has scored more over that period. He is also top for shots on target (SoT) (14), ‘big chances’ (BC) (12) and ‘Expected Goals’ (xG) (5.87). As the below image from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 9.0 FPL points per game this season in home matches. Man. City have scored nine goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Liverpool 14, Arsenal (15), Villa (18) and Newcastle (19) more prolific. No side has landed more SoT than the reigning Champions (44) while only Newcastle (30) have carved out more BC (20). Their visitors Bournemouth have conceded 13 goals over the same period with only Burnley (14) and Sheff. Utd. (22) more porous. Mohamed Salah (lut)

Salah’s six goals over the last six Gameweeks is top amongst midfielders and as the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Egyptian international is also top for SiB (15) and xG (4.35). Meanwhile, only Mitoma (seven) has been afforded more BC than his five. Liverpool have scored 14 goals over the last six Gameweeks (fourth) and are top for shots (111) with only Newcastle (15.96) beating them for xG (15.35). Their opponents Luton have conceded 11 goals over the aforementioned period and have kept no clean sheets. The Hatters are 18th for SiB conceded (73) with only Burnley (74) and Sheff. Utd. Bryan Mbeumo (WHU)

Mbeumo’s haul against Chelsea made it 34 points for the midfielder over the last six Gameweeks, only Hee Chan (36), Saka (39), D. Luiz (44), Son (50) and Salah (60) have racked up more. He has created 11 chances over this period with only Rashford (14), Bown and Salah (15 each) taking more SiB than his 13. Brentford have scored eight goals over the last six Gameweeks and are ranked eighth for BC (15). Darwin Núñez (lut)

Darwin continued his good form with a goal in the Carabao Cup midweek and as the below image from our Match Stats feature shows, over Liverpool’s last five matches he is second amongst their players for goals (two) and xG (2.7) while he is top for SoT (seven) and assists (three). Liverpool have scored nine goals on their travels this season with only Man. City (12), Newcastle (13) and Spurs (14) finding more joy on the road. They are ranked sixth for shots (64) and fifth for xG (8.23) in away matches. Their hosts Luton are ranked 19th for xGC (14.89) over the last six Gameweeks with only Sheff. Utd. Kyle Walker (BOU)

Walker has started each of the last six league matches for Man. City and has created six chances with his tally of two BC created beaten only by Ajer (three) and Trippier (six) amongst defenders. Meanwhile, only Arsenal (29) have restricted opponents to fewer SiB than their 30.
