With several teams benefiting from an attractive run of fixtures, Gameweek 12 looks to be the best opportunity for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers to deploy their first Wildcard.

The Assistant Manager feature highlights that the Fix Algorithm suggests doubling up on Arsenal’s defence with Raya and Gabriel. Meanwhile, the Fixture Difficulty Ratings show that Arsenal ranks third for ‘Defence Difficulty’ over the next six Gameweeks.
Brighton also feature favourably, with the Seagulls ranked fifth which sees Dunk make the squad. The England international is expected to return to the Brighton starting lineup after the international break.
Digne (14) and Hall (13) are ranked fourth and fifth for chances created amongst defenders and offer great value at their price.
Meanwhile, despite Man. City's paucity of clean sheets, only Van Dijk (56) has racked up more points than Gvardiol's 50 and the Croatian international remains a solid pick with his attacking potential.
With eight goals and six assists this season, Salah’s inclusion is a no-brainer. Rested by his country during the international break, the Egyptian international is also the Algorithm’s top captaincy pick for Gameweek 12.
As the below image from the Assistant Manager's Optimal Player Rotation Strategy shows, Palmer is the preferred captaincy option in Gameweek 13, 14 and 16 which means the armband can be moved between him and Salah effectively.
No midfielder has taken more shots this season than Semenyo (48), with the Ghana international is second only to Salah (6.64) for 'Expected Goals' (xG) (5.58). Like Salah, he was also rested over the international break and should be raring to go.
Mbeumo is joint-top for goals scored (eight) amongst midfielders alongside Salah, the Cameroon international is fourth for shots on target (12) and is a great pick for an attacking Brentford side.
Rogers continues to offer value at a price of just 5.4m, as the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, he is second only to Watkins (7.06) for xG amongst Villa players (2.86).
Wood (14) trails only Haaland (32) and N. Jackson (15) for shots on target amongst forwards, as the below image from our AI Rotation Optimizer shows, the New Zealand international rotates perfectly with Rogers and can be benched for Forest's tougher games.
Arsenal's top scorer with four goals, Havertz, should add to his tally over Arsenal's favourable run and with fitness doubts over Saka, the German international is a great pick.
Isak has racked up three goals and an assist over the last three Gameweeks, with only Haaland (5.59) faring better for xG amongst forwards over that period than his 2.37.
Digne, Gabriel, Hall, and Dunk retain their spots from the previous lineup, while Raya is replaced by Verbruggen and Gvardiol makes way for Aït-Nouri. Notably, Aït-Nouri is just one booking away from a suspension. However, the squad’s depth ensures he can be easily benched when the suspension occurs.
The Midfield largely remains unchanged with Johnson the only change for Mbeumo. As the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, only Semenyo (34) has attempted more shots in the box than the Wales international (33) amongst midfielders this season.
The frontline sees change aplenty with Havertz, Isak and Wood all dropping out while Haaland, João Pedro and Cunha come in. All three forwards are penalty takers for their respective sides.
As the below image from our Fixture Difficulty Ratings shows, Wolves are top for 'Attack Difficulty' over the next six Gameweeks which should see Cunha rack up plenty of points.
Meanwhile, Haaland signed off for Norway with a hattrick and the 24-year-old is still top for xG (11.70) amongst all players by some distance with Watkins in second (7.06).
