As the above image from our Fix Comparison Matrix feature shows, Mbeumo is the only player in the comparison to feature for every minute over the last six Gameweeks which is crucial going into a busy festive schedule. He has racked up 38 FPL points (placing him second) over those games, with two goals and three assists. He tops the comparison for shots (21), shots on target (SoT) (eight) and attempted assists (13). He is also third for 'big chance' (BC) involvements (three BC, two BC created). However, it is worth noting that Brentford will blank in Gameweek 18 due to their opponent Man. City's participation in the Club World Cup, so FPL managers need to factor that in.
Gordon was rested over the international break which bodes well for his starting prospects going forward given the injuries at Newcastle. The 22-year-old is bottom for FPL points (24) over the last six Gameweeks, notching just two goals and an assist. The underlying numbers are also relatively poor. He is bottom for shots (nine), attempted assists (one) and BC (three). As the below image from our Stats Sandbox feature shows, Newcastle are fifth for 'Expected Goals' (xG) over the last six Gameweeks so at a price of just £5.8m, Gordon could still be worth considering.
After substitute appearances early on in the season, Hee Chan has become a regular in the Wolves team as shown by his 532 minutes over the last six Gameweeks. The South Korean international has racked up a healthy 36 FPL points (third) with three goals and two assists. Nevertheless, the underlying numbers are not great, he is fourth for shots (11) and bottom for SoT (three). The Wolves’ attacker is creating chances, as shown by his 10 attempted assists, but what is the most encouraging is that he is top for BC (six) and has also created two BC. As the below image from our Fixture Planner shows, Wolves have some decent fixtures over the next six Gameweeks and it could be a good time to bring in Hee Chan.
Palmer has cemented his spot on the right-wing for Chelsea over the last six Gameweeks and is top of the comparison for FPL points (43), goals (four), BC (six) and BC created (four). However, it is worth mentioning that all of his goals have been penalties so far. The underlying numbers are very good, he is second for shots (16) and SoT (seven) while only Diaby (12) and Mbeumo (13) have attempted more assists. At just £5.2m, he is the cheapest option in the Comparison and worthy of consideration, especially when Chelsea's fixtures turn from Gameweek 16.
Diaby has started every game for Villa over the last six Gameweeks, but as his 467 minutes show, he often gets subbed off late on in games. He is fourth for FPL points (33), but is top for assists (four), with just one goal over the aforementioned period. The French international has taken 12 shots so far, but just two of these have been big chances. On the other hand, his creativity numbers are great with 12 attempted assists and three BC created. Villa's fixtures begin to toughen up from Gameweek 13 and they are bottom of the Fixture Planner over the next six Gameweeks, so the Villa man is likely to get overlooked by many FPL managers.
