Jarrod Bowen hasn't quite hit the heights of previous seasons, partly due to West Ham's struggles.
However, he’s still delivered solid returns, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists in just 1,920 minutes across 22 games, earning 112 FPL points so far.
At home, he's averaged 4.9 points per game, as shown in the Opta Heatmaps tool, and with a favourable Gameweek 27 fixture against Leicester, his projected 5.5 points make him a tempting pick.
With just 4.1% ownership, Bowen could be the differential that gives your rank a boost.
After a slow start to the season, Jean-Philippe Mateta has been a revelation for Crystal Palace in the last six gameweeks.
During this period, he has scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist, accumulating 56 FPL points—bettered only by Salah (83) and Wood (62) as shown in the Opta Stats Sandbox.
However, managers should note that Mateta has a blank in Gameweek 29. He’s an ideal differential for those planning to use their Free Hit chip or with strong bench cover.
With a projected 4.9 points against Aston Villa in GW27, followed by fixtures against Ipswich (GW28) and Southampton (GW30), he could be a smart investment.
The 23-year-old Argentine World Cup winner has been a bright spot in Chelsea's midfield this season, contributing 4 goals and 5 assists for a total of 82 FPL points.
Despite his budget-friendly price, Enzo is always displays a goal threat. As shown in the Match Centre tool, he has scored once in the last five games and ranks second among Chelsea players for expected goals (1.6) and fifth for shots on target (2).
With favourable fixtures against Southampton and Leicester in the next two gameweeks, Enzo could offer excellent value. His low ownership of just 3.6% makes him a strong short-term differential.
The 22-year-old French-Algerian full-back has been a consistent performer for Wolves this season, contributing 3 goals and 5 assists for a total of 75 FPL points.
As shown in his Opta Heatmap, Aït-Nouri is heavily involved in the attack. Among defenders, only Gvardiol (83) and Muñoz (77) have had more touches in the opposition’s box than his 59.
With a favourable run of fixtures against Fulham, Everton, and Southampton, he could be a smart defensive pick.
Owned by just 5.2% of managers, Aït-Nouri offers both attacking returns and clean sheet potential.
The 25-year-old Spanish defender has recorded 2 goals and 2 assists this season, accumulating 61 FPL points.
As shown in the Fixture Planner, Chelsea sit top for defensive difficulty over the next two gameweeks, with matches against Southampton and Leicester. They do play in Blank Gameweek 29, but it’s a tough away fixture against Arsenal.
Owned by just 6.3% of managers, Cucurella could be a solid differential, offering potential returns at both ends of the pitch.
These five differentials offer a unique opportunity to gain an edge in your mini-leagues and overall rank. While they all come with some level of risk, their low ownership and potential for returns make them exciting options for the bold FPL manager.
