FPL Gameweek 28: The Best Captain Choices

Mohamed Salah (SOU) - Highest Projected Point Scorer

Salah's total of nine goals in home matches this season is the highest among midfielders. Only Semenyo (43) has attempted more shots in the box than his 39, while only Mitoma and I. Sarr (10 each) have been afforded more 'big chances' than his nine.

The Egyptian international trails only Savinho and B. Fernandes (seven each) for assists in home matches (six), while only Palmer (nine) and Saka (13) have created more 'big chances' than his eight.

Liverpool have scored 28 goals at Anfield this season (second) and are ranked fifth for 'big chances' in home matches (40).

Southampton have conceded 28 goals in away matches (18th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Saints are 18th for shots in the box conceded in away matches (242) and bottom for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (33.13).

Their visitors Leicester have conceded 34 goals in away matches this season (20th) and have not kept a clean sheet on their travels. West Ham (226), Southampton (242) and Brentford (251) are the only sides to have allowed opponents more shots in away matches than the Foxes (225).

Their visitors Villa have conceded 27 goals in away matches (17th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Midlands side are ranked 12th for shots conceded (189) and 17th for xGC (28.64).
