The Belgian shot-stopper has been a standout performer for Nottingham Forest this season.
According to the Opta Stats Sandbox tool, he leads all goalkeepers with 12 clean sheets and shares the top spot for bonus points (10) with Pickford. His consistency between the posts makes him a reliable FPL asset.
With a trip to Ipswich up next, Sels has a prime opportunity to extend his clean sheet tally. For FPL managers seeking a dependable goalkeeper, he’s a standout pick this week.
The Algorithm is backing Nottingham Forest’s defence so much that it’s recommending a double-up!
Ola Aina has been a key player this season, combining defensive solidity with an attacking threat. The Nigerian international has already registered two goals and an assist, demonstrating some offensive potential.
With Forest facing an Ipswich side that has managed just 26 goals in 28 games, Aina has strong potential for both defensive and attacking returns this week.
Manchester United haven't been the most reliable defensively this season, but they face a struggling Leicester side that has scored just three goals in their last 10 games—the lowest in the league.
At just £4.3m, Mazraoui offers great value. While his attacking returns have been modest, his low price frees up funds for investment elsewhere. With United’s defence having a good chance of a clean sheet against Leicester, he stands out as a smart budget pick for FPL managers.
Rayan Aït-Nouri has frequently been recommended in Fix's articles, and it's easy to see why.
With 3 goals, 5 assists, and 6 bonus points so far this season, he’s proven himself as a reliable attacking asset. While he’s only kept 4 clean sheets, his offensive contributions have made up for it.
Wolves are about to embark on a favourable run of fixtures, placing them at the top for defensive potential in the Fixture Difficulty tool.
This could be the perfect time for Aït-Nouri to combine his attacking threat with clean sheets, delivering a solid haul for his FPL owners.
With a string of offensive injuries at Arsenal, Trossard has emerged as their main attacking threat. In the recent match against Manchester United, he registered the most shots (6) and the highest xG (0.71) for the Gunners, despite not scoring.
Trossard has been involved in 4 goals, 6 assists, and 10 bonus points this season. With Chelsea showing mixed form recently, he’ll be looking to add to his tally in the upcoming fixture.
Despite Manchester United's struggles this season, Bruno Fernandes remains a key asset for FPL managers.
With 7 goals, 9 assists, and 135 points, he’s always a threat. His ability to rack up bonus points—22 so far—only adds to his value, especially with a favourable away fixture against Leicester.
Mark Mansfield, a seven-time top 10k finisher, recently summed up Fernandes’ importance: “It’s Leicester, and it’s Bruno, so no explanations required here. 100% Free Hit nailed.” This endorsement further highlights Fernandes as a must-have for the upcoming gameweek.
Bryan Mbeumo has been a reliable performer for Brentford this season and a consistent presence in many FPL teams.
With 15 goals, 5 assists, and 173 FPL points, he averages 6.2 points per game, as shown in the Opta Heatmaps tool.
Only Mohamed Salah (306 points in his record-breaking season) and Cole Palmer (181 points) have outscored him so far.
Justin Kluivert, the son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert, is having an impressive season with Bournemouth. With 12 goals, 6 assists, and 145 FPL points, the young Dutchman offers great value in midfield.
His ownership has surged in recent weeks, and he’s now owned by 59.9% of the top 1 million managers, making him the sixth-highest owned player for that tier.
Kluivert also features in the latest Free Hit draft of Paul Marshman, a record-breaking six-time top 1k FPL finisher. Marshman noted, “I was kind of forced into using my Free Hit due to injuries—it wasn’t my original plan.”
You can check out his latest draft and stay updated with team changes on the Elite XI: Team Reveal tool.
Antoine Semenyo has enjoyed a solid season for Bournemouth, though he’s been a bit of a frustration for FPL managers.
With 7 goals, 5 assists, and 110 FPL points, he offers great value, but his goals have come from an expected goals (xG) of 12.03, making him one of the biggest underachievers in the league, alongside Eberechi Eze (2 goals from an xG of 7.04).
His home fixture against Brentford could be the perfect opportunity for Semenyo to finally reward his loyal FPL owners.
It’s no surprise that Erling Haaland is leading the line for Manchester City. The Norwegian striker has quietly been in incredible form, scoring 7 goals, providing 2 assists, earning 10 bonus points, and accumulating 62 points over his last 9 games.

With a predicted 7.1 points, Haaland is the top captaincy choice according to the algorithm. His upcoming home fixture against Brighton offers another great opportunity to build on his recent impressive run.
Chris Wood has been in superb form this season for Nottingham Forest. With 18 goals and 3 assists, he’s proven to be a reliable points scorer, now owned by 72.4% of the top 1 million FPL managers.
His home fixture against Ipswich presents a great opportunity to extend his goalscoring run. As Elite XI: Team Reveal manager Mark Mansfield noted in a recent article revealing his Free Hit draft, “Don’t shoot yourself in the foot by ignoring a highly-owned great pick.”
Here’s the full Fantasy Premier League team in the Future Planner tool, selected using the Fantasy Football Fix Algorithm.
This team combines premium assets and value picks across all positions to optimise FPL points. While some choices may seem unconventional, the underlying statistics and projected points indicate this could be a high-scoring lineup for Gameweek 29.
