Top Five Key Players for Fantasy Premier League 2024/25 Gameweek 30

FPL Headliner: Alexander Isak (BRE)

Isak has scored nine goals in 12 home matches this season, only Wood (10) and Haaland (11) have fared better amongst forwards on home turf.

The Swedish international is ranked eighth for shots on target (17) and 10th for xG (6.40) in home matches.

Meanwhile, only Wood (91) and Haaland (93) have scored more FPL points in home matches than his 90, as the below image from our Opta Player Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 7.5 FPL points per game in home matches this season.

Newcastle have scored 24 goals at St James this season (eighth) and are ranked 11th for xG (25.22)

Their visitors, Brentford, have conceded 18 goals on their travels (eighth) and have kept five clean sheets. However, the Bees are ranked 19th for shots conceded in away matches (269) with only Southampton (270) faring worse.

Top FPL Midfielder: Mohamed Salah (EVE)

Salah has found the back of the net eight times over the last six Gameweeks, no player across all positions has fared better.

As the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, the Egyptian international trails only Beto (13) for shots on target (12) and is top for xG (5.32).

He is also third for 'big chances' created (four), with no player notching more FPL assists (four) over the aforementioned timeframe.

Liverpool have scored 15 goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Forest (16) scoring more. The Merseyside outfit are top for shots (100) and second for xG (14.13).

Their derby rivals Everton have conceded eight goals over the same period and have kept one clean sheet. The Toffees are ranked 10th for shots conceded (74) and fifth for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (6.97).

Best Forward Pick: Jean-Philippe Mateta (sou)

Mateta is expected to be fit for the Gameweek 30 fixture against Southampton after missing out due to injury prior to the international break, the French international has scored four goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Beto (five) more prolific amongst forwards.

As the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, he is ranked second for 'big chances' (seven) and fourth for xG (2.93) amongst forwards despite just four appearances over the aforementioned period.

Palace have scored 10 goals over the last six Gameweeks (fifth) and are ranked third for xG (11.93) even with playing a game fewer than most sides.

Their hosts Southampton have conceded 17 goals over the aforementioned period, no team have conceded more. The Saints are bottom for both shots in the box conceded (72) and xGC (16.58).

Top Budget Midfielder: Justin Kluivert (IPS)

Kluivert has bagged a goal and two assists for the Cherries over their last five league matches. As the below image from our Match Centre feature shows, the Dutchman is top amongst Bournemouth's players over that period for chances created (12) while only Kerkez (three) has managed more FPL assists than his two.

Bournemouth have scored just seven goals over the last six Gameweeks (14th) but are ranked third for shots (89) and fifth for xG (10.89).

Their visitors Ipswich have conceded 15 goals over the same period (18th) and have kept no clean sheets. The Tractor Boys are ranked 17th for shots in the box conceded (60) and xGC (11.08).

Top Defensive Asset: Daniel Muñoz (sou)

Muñoz has racked up 35 FPL points over the last six Gameweeks with only Cucurella (36) faring better amongst defenders. The Colombian international has bagged a goal, two assists, three clean sheets and six bonus points over that period, with only Cucurella (four) landing more shots on target than his three.

Palace have conceded just three goals over the last six Gameweeks (first) and have kept three clean sheets (first). Arsenal (27) are the only side to have allowed opponents fewer shots in the box (37) than the Eagles who are second for xGC (5.24).

Their opponents, Southampton, have scored just five goals over the last six Gameweeks with only Leicester (zero) faring worse. The Saints are 18th for shots (49) and 19th for xG (4.49).
