Robert Sánchez: Clean sheet Potential

  • Position: Goalkeeper
  • Cost: £4.5m
  • Fixture: EVE (H)
  • Predicted Points: 4.1

Robert Sánchez has quietly become one of the best value goalkeepers in FPL this season. Priced at just £4.5m, the Chelsea No.1 has already picked up 7 clean sheets and 9 bonus points—only Sels (11) and Pickford (12) have more among goalkeepers.

Premier League teams ranked by goals scored in away games

This gameweek, he faces an Everton side that has struggled badly on the road, scoring just 12 goals away all season—an average of 0.75 per game, the lowest in the league as shown in the Opta Stats Sandbox tool.

With Toffee's away day woes, Sánchez looks well-placed to deliver again.

Kieran Trippier: The Assist King To Return?

  • Position: Defender
  • Cost: £5.6m
  • Fixture: IPS (H)
  • Predicted Points: 4.7

It’s been a quiet season by Kieran Trippier’s standards, with just one assist so far—a far cry from the 10 he delivered last season. However, he remains a key figure in Newcastle’s back line and has a great opportunity to return points this gameweek.

A home clash against Ipswich, who have managed just 33 goals all season, suggests clean sheet potential. While attacking returns have dried up, Trippier's involvement in set-pieces still gives him an outside chance of chipping in creatively.

Antonee Robinson: a Resurgence on the Left Flank?

  • Position: Defender
  • Cost: £4.8m
  • Fixture: sou (A)
  • Predicted Points: 4.3

Antonee Robinson has been one of the most creative defenders in FPL this season, with 10 assists—the most of any defender, and three more than second-placed Hall, who is currently injured.

Robinson stats pre and post Gameweek 24

However, the American's attacking output has stalled, with no assists since Gameweek 24. A look at the Opta Heatmaps tool and per-90 stats tells the story: up to GW24, he averaged 1.46 crosses per game. Since then, that figure has dropped sharply to just 0.37.

His early-season form may have been unsustainable, with 0.42 assists per game coming from just 0.15 expected assists (xA). Still, a favourable fixture away at Southampton offers hope that he might regain some of that attacking freedom and start delivering again from the left.

Rayan Aït-Nouri: Wolves' Defensive Dynamo

  • Position: Defender
  • Cost: £4.9m
  • Fixture: LEI (H)
  • Predicted Points: 5.3

Rayan Aït-Nouri has been a standout performer for Wolves this season. The Algerian full-back has scored 4 goals—second only to Gvardiol among defenders—and provided 6 assists, the joint-most for Wolves.

Premier League teams clean sheet probability

A home fixture against Leicester only boosts his appeal. The Foxes have failed to score in 9 of their last 10 games, and Wolves are rated by the Predicted Points & Stats tool as having a 50% chance of keeping a clean sheet—the best of any team this gameweek.

With attacking returns and clean sheet potential on his side, Aït-Nouri looks like one of the top defensive picks this week.

Mohamed Salah: Dangerous Despite Dip

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Cost: £13.8m
  • Fixture: TOT (A)
  • Predicted Points: 8.8

By his own high standards, Mohamed Salah is going through a quieter spell—just 14 points and a single assist in his last four appearances. However, his underlying numbers suggest he's been unlucky. An xG of 2.47 without a goal points to near misses rather than poor form.

Before this dip, Salah was in electrifying form, racking up 27 goals and 18 assists. His overall season output makes him near-essential for FPL managers.

With an enticing 8.8 predicted points against a distracted Spurs side that appear to have taken their eye off the Premier League, the Egyptian King could well return to his explosive best.

Jacob Murphy: Budget Price with Premium Output

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Cost: £5.2m
  • Fixture: IPS (H)
  • Predicted Points: 5.6

Jacob Murphy is quietly having a sensational season for Newcastle. With 8 goals and 11 assists, he’s enjoying his best-ever FPL campaign—and among midfielders, only Salah (18) has more assists. When it comes to total goal involvements, his 19 are bettered only by Salah (45), Mbeumo (25), and Palmer (24).

At just £5.2m, Murphy offers outstanding value, especially with a home fixture against Ipswich. While Harvey Barnes is also attracting attention (as highlighted in this week’s Top 5 Differentials article), Murphy’s consistent output and price point make him a standout budget option.

Justin Kluivert: In-Form Flyer Returns

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Cost: £6.0m
  • Fixture: MUN (H)
  • Predicted Points: 5.3

After an injury spell that kept him sidelined longer than expected, Justin Kluivert is back—and could be a very handy pick for FPL managers. The Dutchman has been in great form this season, scoring 12 goals and supplying 6 assists for Bournemouth.

While Manchester United may have once looked like a tricky fixture on paper, recent performances suggest otherwise. They conceded four to Newcastle and lost to Wolves in their last two matches, with growing signs that their focus is shifting to European competition.

Kluivert is currently in Mark Mansfield’s Free Hit draft—Mansfield being a member of the Elite XI: Team Reveal with seven top 10k finishes. Of course, his draft is subject to change, so enable push notifications to stay updated on his final Free Hit picks.

Cole Palmer: Season Of Two Halves

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Cost: £10.6m
  • Fixture: EVE (H)
  • Predicted Points: 5.9

It’s been a season of two halves for Cole Palmer. From Gameweek 1 to 21, the young England international was on fire, averaging 7.8 points per game as shown in the Opta Heatmaps tool.

Cole Palmer FPL stats between GW1 and GW21

During that stretch, only Salah (211) had more points than Palmer’s 163—it looked like he was on for another remarkable season.

Since then, though, his output has dipped dramatically. He’s averaged just 2.82 points per game post-GW21, raising questions about whether he can still justify his premium price tag.

Even so, with 14 goals and 10 assists this season and a favourable home fixture against Everton, Palmer’s potential remains undeniable. He may not be in peak form, but one explosive performance could quickly remind managers why he became essential in the first place.

Alexander Isak: High xG, Low Returns—Due a Haul?

  • Position: Forward
  • Cost: £9.5m
  • Fixture: IPS (H)
  • Predicted Points: 7.3

Alexander Isak has been one of the standout forwards this season, scoring 21 goals—second only to Salah (27). While he's only found the net twice in his last six matches, his underlying numbers remain strong, with an xG of 3.83 during that period suggesting he's been unfortunate not to score more.

With a favourable home fixture against Ipswich, Isak has a prime opportunity to return to form. Despite the recent dip, his consistent threat in front of goal makes him a standout option for this gameweek.

Matheus Cunha: Differential Building Momentum

  • Position: Forward
  • Cost: £6.9m
  • Fixture: LEI (H)
  • Predicted Points: 6.5

Matheus Cunha has been central to Wolves' attack this season, with 14 goals and 5 assists to his name. But he's a differential—owned by just 2.2% of the top 1 million managers.

Most bought players in FPL

That low ownership may not last long. According to the Transfer Analytics tool, Cunha is currently the most transferred-in player this gameweek, with over 260,000 new owners jumping on board.

With a favourable home fixture against a Leicester side now officially relegated, Cunha’s mix of finishing ability and creative spark makes him one of the most appealing forwards at his price point.

Chris Wood: Fourth Top Scorer

  • Position: Forward
  • Cost: £6.9m
  • Fixture: BRE (H)
  • Predicted Points: 5.8

Chris Wood has had an unbelievable season for Nottingham Forest, netting 19 goals—making him the fourth-highest scorer in the league. The New Zealand striker has proven to be a clinical finisher and a constant aerial threat.

With a home fixture against a leaky Brentford defence with only 6 clean sheets all season, Wood could be poised for another strong return.
