Top Five Key Players for Fantasy Premier League 2024/25 Gameweek 34

FPL Headliner: Alexander Isak (IPS)

Isak has scored 25 FPL points over the last six Gameweeks, with two goals and one assist.

As shown in the image from ourOpta Stats Sandbox, no forward has had more big chances than him in that time (seven). Only Evanilson (4.90) and Marmoush (4.03) have recorded a higher Expected Goals (xG) total than the Swedish striker (3.83) over the same period.

Newcastle have scored 16 goals in the last six Gameweeks – more than any other team. They also rank fourth for both big chances (21) and xG with a total of 12.77.

Liverpool have scored nine goals over the last five Gameweeks (sixth) and are ranked third for shots. The Merseyside outfit are top for 'big chances' (24) and second for xG (13.55).

Their visitors Spurs have conceded 12 goals over the aforementioned period (15th) and have kept no clean sheets. The North London side are ranked ninth for shots conceded (71) and 11th for xGC (8.81).

Best Forward Pick: Matheus Cunha (LEI)

Cunha has notched a goal and an assist over the last two Gameweeks, after missing the four Gameweeks prior due to suspension.

The Brazilian international (89) trails only Haaland (103) for shots amongst forwards this season and is top for both attempted assists (46) and 'big chances' created (12).

Wolves have scored 11 goals over the last six Gameweeks (fifth) and are ranked 12th for xG (8.03).

Their opponents Leicester have conceded 12 goals over the same period (15th) and have kept no clean sheets. The Foxes are ranked 19th for shots in the box conceded (135) and bottom for xGC (18.16).

Top Budget Midfielder: Jacob Murphy (IPS)

J. Murphy's total of 45 FPL points over the last six Gameweeks is second only to Barnes (51), the winger has started every game for Newcastle since Gameweek 14 and with Gordon also fit, he is the most secure of the trio to start against Ipswich.

Newcastle have scored 35 goals at St. James Park this season with only Man. City (39) more prolific on home turf. The Magpies are ranked eighth for both 'big chances' (48) and xG (31.92) in home matches.

Their visitors Ipswich have conceded 31 goals in away matches (16th) and have kept just one clean sheet. The Promoted side are ranked 18th for shots conceded in away games (293) and 18th for xGC (37.88).

Top Defensive Asset: Rayan Aït-Nouri (LEI)

Aït-Nouri's 10 attacking returns is top for defenders (with Robinson - all assists) this season (four goals, six assists). The Algerian international is also top for shots (eight) over the last six Gameweeks.

Porro (13) is the only defender to have attempted more assists (12) over the aforementioned period while no defender has created more 'big chances' than the left-back (three).

Wolves have been impressive defensively, conceding just five goals over the last six Gameweeks (third). The Midlands side are ranked sixth for shots in the box conceded (42) and ninth for xGC (8.27).

Leicester have scored just two goals over the same period (20th) and are also bottom for shots (43), 'big chances' (five) and xG (4.15).
