Haaland’s eight goals see him three clear of Son in the Golden Boot race, as the Stats Sandbox image below shows, the Norwegian international is top amongst all players for shots (31), shots on target (SoT) (17), ‘big chances’ (BC) (14) and ‘Expected Goals’ (xG) (7.98). Man. City have scored 16 goals with only Brighton (18) more prolific. Their total of 21 BC is only bettered by Newcastle (22) and Liverpool (23). Their hosts Wolves have conceded 13 goals with only Burnley (13) and Sheff. Utd. (17) more porous. Meanwhile, only Sheff. Utd. (92) have allowed opponents more shots in the box (SiB) than the Midlands side (75). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.0 for Haaland.

Salah’s seven goal involvements (three goals, four assists) is unmatched by any midfielder thi season while only Son and Saka (44 each) have more FPL points than his 43. He is third for shots (20), behind Rashford and Eze (26 each). No player has created more ‘big chances’ (eight) than the Egyptian international. As the below image from our Price Predictor feature shows, he is close to a price rise and will likely go up before the deadline. Liverpool have scored 15 goals with only Newcastle, Man. City (16 each) and Brighton (18) finding the back of the net more often. The Merseyside outfit are top for both BC (23) and xG (14.54). Their hosts Spurs have conceded just seven goals (fifth) but are ranked 14th for shots conceded (81). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 5.3 for Salah.

Morris has been involved in all of Luton’s three goals this season and as the below image from our Match Stats feature shows, over their last five games he is amongst their players for goals (two), xG (2.3), SoT (four) and assists (one). The Hatters are ranked 13th for BC (10) and 17th for xG (7.07) but it is worth mentioning that they have played a game fewer than most of the league. Their first opponents Everton have conceded 10 goals and are yet to keep a clean sheet. The Toffees are ranked 12th for ‘Expected Goals conceded’ xGC (9.66). Their second opponents Burnley have conceded 13 goals and have also not kept a clean sheet. Only Sheff. Utd. (17) have conceded more goals while Burnley are also ranked 11th for shots conceded (78). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.1 for Morris.
Bowen’s four goals trails only Son (five) amongst midfielders while only Salah (14) and Rashford (20) have taken more SiB than his 12. Meanwhile, only Mbeumo (six) has been afforded more BC than his five. Bowen was rested midweek and as the below image from our Predicted Lineups feature shows, he is rated at 100% to start for the Hammers. West Ham have scored in every game this season, the Hammers are ranked seventh for goals scored (11) and ninth for BC (16). Their opponents Sheff. Utd. have the worst defensive record in the division, the Blades are bottom for goals conceded (17), SiB conceded (92) and xGC (16.28). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.5 for Bowen.
Trippier’s three assists in Gameweek 7 sees him joint-top for assists amongst defenders, he is top for chances created (17) while only only Estupinan (four) has created more BC than his three. Newcastle have conceded just seven goals this season and have kept two clean sheets. Despite a difficult opening set of fixtures, the Magpies are ranked third for xGC (6.44), behind only Arsenal (6.06) and Man. City (5.57). Their visitors Burnley have scored four goals with only Luton (three) managing fewer. No team has fashioned fewer BC (five) than the Clarets.
