FPL Headliner: Erling Haaland (wol)

Despite blanks in the last two Gameweeks, Haaland's total of 10 goals is significantly ahead of Mbeumo and Palmer (six each), as the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, the Norwegian international is also top for shots (35), shots on target (23), 'big chances' (10) and 'Expected Goals' (xG) (6.10) across all positions.

Man. City have scored 17 goals with no team finding the back of the net more often. The reigning Champions are also top for shots (135) and shots on target (49).

Their hosts Wolves have had a torrid start to the season and have conceded 21 goals (20th) in the opening seven matches. The Midlands side are ranked 14th for shots in the box conceded (71) and 16th for 'Expected Goals Conceded' (xGC) (13.49). Top FPL Premium: Mohamed Salah (CHE)

Salah (62) trails only Palmer (67) for FPL points amongst midfielders, no midfielder has taken more shots in the box (21) than the Egyptian international, while he is also top for 'big chances' (eight) and xG (3.96). Meanwhile, only Palmer (five) and Saka (seven) have notched more assists than his four. Liverpool have scored 13 goals (fifth) with no side creating more 'big chances' (28) than the Reds.

Their visitors Chelsea have conceded eight goals (fifth) and have kept two clean sheets. The London side are ranked 11th for shots conceded (97) and fourth for xGC (8.50). Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a point score of 6.8 for Salah.

Best Budget Midfielder: Brennan Johnson (WHU)


Johnson has been on fire over the last few weeks, as the below image from our Match Centre feature shows, over Spurs' last five matches he is top amongst their players for goals (three) and assists (two) while only Solanke (3.4) has registered a higher xG tally than his 2.5.

Spurs total of 14 goals is only bettered by Arsenal (15), Chelsea (16) and Man. City (17) while only Man. City (123) have racked up more shots than their 123.

Form FPL Forward: Chris Wood (CPL)

Wood's total of four goals is only bettered by Haaland (10) amongst forwards, the New Zealand international has been afforded six 'big chances' and has racked up 3.09 xG so far. As the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, no other Forest player has been afforded more than two 'big chances' or racked up more than 0.93 xG.

Forest have scored only seven goals this season (13th) and have created 15 'big chances' (seventh).

Top FPL Defender: Pedro Porro (WHU)

Porro has been unlucky to only register one attacking involvement this season. The Spanish international is top amongst defenders for shots (12) and third for attempted assists (13) which indicates that more returns are around the corner.

Spurs have conceded eight goals (fifth) and have kept two clean sheets. The North London side are ranked second for shots conceded (61) and xGC (6.79).

Their visitors West Ham have only scored four goals in their three away matches this season and no side has created fewer 'big chances' (two) in away matches than the Hammers. While only Brentford (2.59), Palace (2.58) and Leicester (2.34) have racked up a lower xG tally than their 3.07.
