In this blog, the fixtures between Gameweeks 30-35 are analysed using the Fixture Planner to determine the best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) picks going forward.
As the above image from our Fixture Planner shows, Wolves and Everton are ranked top for 'Attack Difficulty' over the next six Gameweeks. Both teams have two home fixtures in Double Gameweek 34 as well as a game against Burnley in the running to the Double.
Liverpool are also a side that warrant investment with three home games in the four Gameweeks leading up to the Double. As the below image from our Opta Stats Sandbox feature shows, no team has conceded fewer goals at home than Liverpool this season.
Bournemouth are similar with games against Everton, Palace, Luton and Man. United before their Double. Despite the away fixture against Man. City, Arsenal are still in sixth with the Gameweek 31 fixture against Luton a big part of the appeal. Their Double against Wolves and Chelsea also looks great for attacking returns.
For those FPL managers looking to Free Hit in Gameweek 34, the fixtures in that particular week are of little consequence as FPL assets can be brought in using the chip. The below image from the Fixture Planner shows the schedule with the Gameweek 34 fixtures removed.
Wolves, Everton and Liverpool still feature favourably without a Double. For those FPL managers using their Wildcard in Gameweek 30 with a view to Free Hit in Double Gameweek 34 should look to include players from these teams. Newcastle go right to the top and are also likely to have a Double in Gameweek 37, so the Magpies also warrant inclusion in a Wildcard 30 squad.
Chelsea do not feature in the ‘Top 10’ with Double Gameweek 34 included, but with the away fixture to Arsenal that week removed, the Blues' schedule looks a lot more appealing especially with the likelihood of two Doubles being added after Gameweek 35.
As the above image from the Predicted Points & Stats feature shows, Liverpool (15.4), Arsenal (15.1) and Newcastle (13.1) are projected to score the most goals. Despite the lack of a Double, Man. City (12.6) are still expected to be prolific while it is interesting to note that Spurs are in seventh even with a blank in Gameweek 34
With the Gameweek 34 fixtures removed, Liverpool remain top (12.1) but Spurs (10.4) and Chelsea (9.1) in particular receive a big boost, which further reinforces including them now, if Free Hit 34 is on the menu. Newcastle (11.3) are also a team to target, while there looks to be no reason to part with Haaland.
