Here are the top 5 most transferred-in players this Gameweek, according to the Transfer Analytics tool.
Here’s a breakdown of the top five most popular transfer combinations among highly ranked FPL managers—and what they reveal about strategy going into the next few weeks.
With Gabriel sidelined by a hamstring injury and no clear return date, managers are switching to his Arsenal teammate William Saliba. The centre-back has delivered 13 points in his last three matches, including a clean sheet, and faces Brentford at home next.
Saliba is also has a double gameweek in GW33, where Arsenal face Ipswich and Crystal Palace. However, he will blank in GW34, so short-term planning is essential.
Kluivert’s muscle injury (50% chance of playing) has prompted a surge in transfers to Morgan Rogers. The Aston Villa midfielder has scored 22 points across his last three appearances, with one goal, two assists, and three bonus points.
With a strong expected FPL output (xFPL) of 20.44, Rogers looks like a sustainable option for managers. He has a double in GW33 (Newcastle and Manchester City), but like Saliba, blanks in GW34.
Jacob Murphy is quickly emerging as a standout FPL asset. With a double gameweek in GW32 (Man United and Crystal Palace), he has racked up 24 points in his last three, including two goals, an assist, and three bonus points.
His xFPL of 21.99 backs up the form, making him an exciting short-term punt with big upside.
Another Gabriel replacement is Tino Livramento, who also benefits from Newcastle’s GW32 double. The full-back has produced 20 points in his last three games thanks to two clean sheets and an assist, and his xFPL of 17.55 highlights his attacking threat.
With favourable fixtures and budget-friendly pricing, Livramento could be a savvy pick for managers chasing rank.
Milenković is a more left-field transfer, but one gaining traction. The Nottingham Forest defender has returned 18 points over the last three matches, with a goal, assist, and clean sheet. He faces Everton at home before an away trip to Spurs.
xFPL is calculated primarily using expected goals (xG), assists (xA), which combine as Fantasy Premier League (FPL) involvements (xG + xA = xI), as well as expected clean sheets (xCS). These numbers are a result of underlying statistics (i.e. shot type and location will give a probability of scoring = xG). xFPL is the combination of these statistics and factors in appearance and bonus points to give an overall expected FPL point score.
