FPL Price Changes: Market Movers and Shakers

In today's Fantasy Premier League market, we've seen a flurry of activity with nine price changes. Let's dive into the risers and fallers, examining their recent performances and upcoming fixtures.

Price Rises ⬆️

Matheus Cunha (Wolves) - £7.0m The Brazilian forward has seen his price tick up to £7.0m after a string of impressive performances. Cunha has amassed 20 points in his last three outings, including two 9-point hauls against Liverpool and Bournemouth. With favourable fixtures against Everton (H) and Southampton (A) on the horizon, Cunha could be a shrewd investment for FPL managers.

Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton) - £6.5m Brighton's Japanese winger has been in scintillating form, reflected in his price rise to £6.5m. Mitoma has racked up 20 points in his last three matches, including a 10-point performance against Chelsea. However, managers should be wary of Brighton's tough upcoming fixture against Manchester City in Gameweek 29.

Omar Marmoush (Man City) - £7.2m The Egyptian forward has seen his price increase to £7.2m despite mixed recent form. Marmoush exploded for 17 points against Newcastle in Gameweek 25 but has struggled in his other recent outings. With favourable fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Leicester City coming up, he could be one to watch.

Price Falls ⬇️

Pedro Porro (Spurs) - £5.3m The Spanish defender has seen his price dip to £5.3m after being benched in Gameweek 26. Prior to that, Porro had registered back-to-back 6-point hauls. With attractive fixtures against Bournemouth (H) and Southampton (H) in the next few gameweeks, Porro could bounce back if he regains his starting spot.

Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) - £7.4m Gordon's price has dropped to £7.4m following a string of low-scoring gameweeks. The midfielder has managed just 5 points in his last three matches. FPL managers should note that Newcastle have a blank in Gameweek 29, followed by a double gameweek in Gameweek 32.

Phil Foden (Man City) - £9.2m The England international has seen his price fall to £9.2m after a run of underwhelming performances. Foden has scored just 7 points in his last three games. However, with favourable fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Leicester City coming up, he could be due for a return to form.

Low Ownership Fallers

Several low-ownership players have also seen price drops:

  • Ashley Young (Aston Villa) - £4.4m
  • Sergio Reguilón (Spurs) - £4.1m
  • Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) - £4.8m

These budget options could provide value for managers looking to free up funds for premium assets.
