“In today’s ultra-competitive FPL landscape, a top 10k finish means more than ever,” Corey tells us. “I’m currently at 15,945th, but I believe it’s well within reach.”
This is how his team currently looks, as shown in the Elite XI: Team Reveal tool:
But how he gets another top 10k finish depends heavily on whether the FA Cup Final fixture fallout results in a Double Gameweek (DGW) or Blank Gameweek (BGW). Corey’s laid out two detailed paths depending on what the schedule throws at us.
Corey is already well-positioned here.
“I’ve maxed out on Palace and Man City, so I’d be starting with six doublers. I like the combo I’ve got, though I’ve considered switching to De Bruyne to Dias or Muñoz to Mateta.”
He’s also backing his GW33 decisions:
“Wissa and Mbeumo were deliberate picks for my Bench Boost—they’ve got great fixtures, and they delivered more than most DGW players.”

The key challenge in this path is navigating GW37, where six of Corey’s players would blank. His solution?
“I’d need to hoard free transfers and skip moves in GW35 and GW36. In GW37, I’d likely swap De Bruyne to Saka, and pair that with either:
Muñoz ➝ O’Brien and Marmoush ➝ Delap
Muñoz ➝ O’Brien and Eze ➝ a midfielder like Kudus, Rogers, Neto, or Enzo/Gibbs-White
Marmoush ➝ Raúl and Eze ➝ Bowen”
Corey's favourite?
“The first option is safest, the second is unpredictable, and the third has the biggest upside—though it could leave me exposed defensively.”
For GW38, Corey’s eyeing a Bournemouth forward:
“Depending on how GW37 goes, I’ll bring in Kluivert, Semenyo, or Evanilson—if his red card gets overturned.”
“Things get trickier here. Defence and goalkeeper need improvement, but they’re low-upside moves. The attack still needs Saka, and Marmoush has to go.”
Here are his two fallback routes:
“I prefer the DGW route but I think both paths have enough upside. The key will be reacting quickly to fixture announcements.”

“At this point, it’s about calculated risk. I’m confident in the structure I’ve built, and now it’s about execution and timing. Hopefully, I’ll see that green arrow into the top 10k.”
