Son’s total of six goals is second only to Haaland, the South Korean is third amongst midfielders for shots in the box (SiB) (14) with only Bowen (18) and Rashford (22) attempting more. The North London side are top of the league for shots (137). Their opponents Luton have conceded 14 goals and are yet to keep a clean sheet. Only Bournemouth (15), Burnley (16) and Sheff. Utd. have conceded more goals than the Hatters (14), who are also ranked a lowly 15th for shots in the box (SiB) conceded (108). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.0 for Son.

Salah has scored three goals this campaign and the 31-year-old is fourth amongst midfielders for xG (3.75) and shots (21) while only Maddison (12) has landed more SoT than his 10. The lower goal tally is made up for by his creativity numbers which have been excellent as well, no midfielder has registered more assists (four), ‘Expected Assists’ (xA) (4.26) or ‘big chances’ created (nine). As the below image from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 5.3 points per game in away matches this season. Liverpool have scored 16 goals (fourth) and are top for xG (15.69). Meanwhile, only Newcastle (27) have fashioned more ‘big chances’ (BC) than their 24. Their hosts Brighton have conceded 14 goals and are yet to keep a clean sheet. The Seagulls are ranked 12th for ‘Expected Goals Conceded’ (xGC) (12.05). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 5.0 for Salah.
Gakpo's injury and Jota's suspension mean that Núñez is likely to get the nod for Liverpool up front against Brighton, as the below image from our Match Stats feature shows, over Liverpool's last five matches he is top amongst their players for goals (three) and xG (3.3) while also being second for SoT (five) and assists (two). Despite playing two of their away matches with early red cards, Liverpool are ranked fifth for goals scored on the road (seven) and ninth for xG (5.70). Their hosts Brighton have conceded six goals in four home matches and are yet to keep a clean sheet at the Amex. The Seagulls are ranked 16th for xGC in home matches (7.05). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 4.1 for the Uruguayan international.
