Cole Palmer (avl/TOT)

The top scoring midfielder with 208 FPL points, Palmer is expected back in the Chelsea starting lineup after missing out last Gameweek against Arsenal. As the Opta Stats Sandbox image below shows, the 21-year-old is second amongst midfielders for SoT (40) this campaign while only Salah (26) has registered a higher xG (18.45) than his 13.90. Chelsea have scored 61 goals (seventh) and are ranked fifth for xG (63.58). Their first opponents Villa have conceded 50 goals (sixth) and have kept eight clean sheets. The Midlands side are ranked fourth for shots conceded (392) and 12th for xGC (53.62). Their second opponents Spurs have conceded 49 goals (fifth) but have kept just six clean sheets. The North London side are ranked 11th for xGC (53.26). Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a point score of 7.2 for Palmer.

Alexander Isak (SHU)

Isak has found the back of the net five times since the last international break (GW30) with only Mateta (six) more prolific amongst forwards over that period. He trails only Darwin (17) and Muniz (24) for shots in the box (SiB) (16) while no forward has registered more BC (eight) or xG (5.00). As the below image from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 7.3 FPL points per home game this season. Newcastle have scored 43 goals at home (first) with no side creating more BC (72) in home matches this season. Their visitors Sheff. Utd. have conceded a whopping 92 goals and have kept just one clean sheet. The Blades are bottom for shots conceded (615) and 19th for xGC (72.00). Our Predicted Points & Stats tool currently projects a point score of 6.8 for Isak.
