As the deadline looms closer, it is time to decide what to do with our precious free transfer(s). Aside from playing chips or selecting a captain, our transfers are the single most important aspect of our FPL campaign, and the importance of getting it right cannot be overstated.
In this article we crunch the numbers, analyse the fixtures, take advice from the Algorithm, and decide which player to buy, which player to sell, and which player to keep for Gameweek 15.

Ask any Manchester United fan and they will tell you that Marcus Rashford (£6.7m) is looking back to his best. The stats confirm this; according to the Opta Stats Sandbox, Rashford is ranked third amongst midfielders for xG (4.64) and fifth for xFPL Points (60.44).
This jump in goal threat is undoubtedly helped by the fact that Rashford is often deployed as the focal point of the Manchester United attack under Erik ten Hag and, in that sense, is an out-of-position midfielder as classified by FPL.

Rashford’s underlying data (per 90 minutes) is similar – and in some respects better – than equivalently priced Gabriel Martinelli (£6.8m) who is one of the most popular midfield picks. The advantage with Rashford is that his next two fixtures are Aston Villa and Fulham, making him one of the best midfield options available between now and the World Cup.
