Headliner – Heung-Min Son (CHE)

Son has been on fire since Mourinho’s appointment, scoring three goals in the last six gameweeks. Only De Bruyne, Salah and Richarlison (all four) have scored more amongst midfielders. He is ranked fourth for shots (17), only Pulisic (21) and De Bruyne (23) fared better. He is also third for shots on target (SoT) with eight, trailing only Salah (nine) and De Bruyne (10). No player has created more ‘big chances’ than his six. Spurs have scored 15 goals in the last six gameweeks, only Liverpool (17) have scored more. They have landed 33 SoT with only Liverpool, Man. City (both 36), Leicester (40) and Man. Utd (44) managing more. They are also ranked third for ‘big chances’ (18), while only Burnley (20) and Leicester (22) have managed more. Spurs are ranked second for attacking difficulty for the next four mathes on the Fixture Analyzer, so the South Korean is a great acquisition for the festive period. Chelsea have conceded eight goals in the last six gameweeks and are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season. They have conceded 21 SoT and nine ‘big chances’. Marcus Rashford (wat)

Rashford looks to be in the form of his life with five goals in the last six gameweeks, and only Vardy (six) has scored more. He is the most transferred in forward this week as per the Transfer Stats feature, and the second most popular overall. No forward has taken more than his 27 shots over this period and he trails only Vardy for SoT 12 to 13. He has been afforded eight ‘big chances’ and only Wood (10) and Vardy (12) have fared better. Man. Utd have scored 13 goals over the aforementioned period, while only Spurs (15) and Liverpool (17) were more prolific. No team has landed more SoT than their 44. Watford have conceded nine goals in the last six gameweeks, allowing opponents 26 SoT. Only seven teams have allowed opponents more ‘big chances’ than their 12. Raul Jimenéz (nor)

With two goals and three assists in the last six gameweeks, Jimenéz has managed to notch 33 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points at an average of 5.5 per game. He is one of the first names on the team sheet for Wolves, and this is supported by our Predicted Lineups feature, where he is rated 100% to start. Only Vardy (22) took more shots in the box (SiB) than the Mexican’s 20 and his eight SoT is fourth amongst forwards with only Jota (nine), Rashford (12) and Vardy (13) faring better. He is unrivalled in the creativity numbers, no forward has attempted more assists (15) or created more ‘big chances’ (five) than the Mexican. Wolves have scored 10 goals in the last six gameweeks, and only five teams have been more prolific. The midlands outfit are also ranked fifth for shots (93) and SoT (33). Norwich have conceded nine goals in the same period and only seven teams have conceded more. They have allowed 28 SoT with only seven teams faring worse. Jack Grealish (SOU)

Grealish has been moved to a more forward role on the left-wing in recent weeks and as the ‘Last Five’ matches statistics in the Match Stats area shows, he is their main attacking outlet. He is top for goals amongst Villa players in that period (five), expected goals (xG) 2.0 and SoT (four). He tops the creativity numbers as well with 12 attempted assists. Villa have scored seven goals over the last six gameweeks, taking 48 SiB and landing 20 SoT. Their opponents Southampton have conceded nine goals over the same period with only seven teams conceding more. They have allowed opponents 26 SoT and nine ‘big chances’. With both teams desperate for points, this is likely to be a high scoring encounter and our Fix Algorithm projects a point score of 4.4 for Grealish.

Matt Doherty (nor)

Doherty has been an everpresent in the Wolves side over the last six gameweeks, playing every minute and registering 24 penalty box touches, highest amongst defenders over that period. He has taken five SiB and only Tarkowski (seven) and Dunk (eight) have taken more. He has landed three SoT with only Willems and Webster (four) faring better. Wolves have conceded seven goals in the same timeframe and only Liverpool, Palace (both five) and Leicester (three) have conceded fewer. The boys in orange have conceded just 23 SoT, and only Sheffield Utd., Chelsea (both 21), Liverpool, Man. City (both 20) and Leicester (10) have been more frugal. Norwich have scored just seven goals over the last six matches and are ranked ninth for shots (79) and 10th for SoT (nine). They have ashioned seven ‘big chances’ with only Bournemouth, West Ham and Palace (all four) creating fewer. Our Fix Algorithm projects a 40% chance of a Wolves clean sheet and a point score of 4.5 for Doherty.
