Headliner – Raheem Sterling (TOT, eve)

Sterling has delivered four goals and one assist in the last five gameweeks, averaging 7.6 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points per game (PPG). The Englishman has racked up a tally of 11 shots in the box (SiB) over that period, on par with Gündogan and behind only Salah and Mané (each 13) amongst midfielders. His 48 touches in the opposition’s box is a league-leading total, while only Watkins (3.19) can better his 3.17 non-penalty expected goals (xG) figure. A popular transfer target this week, his price movements can be monitored using our Price Predictor feature. Man. City have scored 19 goals over the last six gameweeks, more than any other side and are also top for shots (106), SiB (72), shots on target (SoT)(44) and ‘big chances’ (21). Spurs have conceded seven goals over the last six gameweeks, keeping just one clean sheet. Only six teams have conceded more shots than the Lilywhites’ 80 over that period. Meanwhile, Everton have conceded eight goals over the same period, keeping no clean sheets. They have allowed opponents 24 SoT and nine ‘big chances’ over those matches. Timo Werner (NEW)

While he has yet to get off the mark under Tuchel, Werner has contributed three FPL assists in the last three gameweeks. As the Stats Sandbox shows, no forward has taken more than his 24 touches in the opposition’s box during that time, won as many penalties (two), or free kicks in the final third (four). Only Watkins, Bamford and Calvert-Lewin (each six) can better his four SoT. Chelsea have scored six goals over as many gameweeks and only Man. Utd (65) and Man. City (72) have taken more SiB than the Blues’ 60 over that period. Their total of 28 SoT is only bettered by Leicester (32), Villa (33), Man. Utd (42) and Man. City (44). Newcastle have conceded 12 goals over the last six gameweeks and only West Brom (15) and Southampton (18) have shipped more. West Brom (94), Villa (99) and Burnley (115) are the only teams to have allowed opponents more shots than the Magpies’ 91. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 3.1 for the German.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (FUL, MCI)

Following his return from injury, Calvert-Lewin has bagged two goals and an assist over the last four gameweeks to average 6.3 PPG as per our Fix Heatmaps feature. Only Watkins has landed more SoT during that period amongst forwards (10 to 7), while only Antonio (nine), Wilson, Bamford (each 12) and Watkins (15) can better his eight SiB. His total of three 'big chances' ranks only behind Cavani and Wilson, each on four. Everton have scored eight goals over the last six gameweeks, only West Ham (10), Man. Utd (16) and Man. City (19) have been more prolific. The Toffees have taken 40 shots and fashioned eight ‘big chances’ over that period. Fulham have conceded eight goals over the last six gameweeks, only Burnley (nine), Palace (10), Newcastle (12), West Brom (15) and Southampton (18) have shipped more. While Newcastle (91), West Brom (94), Villa (99) and Burnley (115) have allowed opponents more shots than the Cottagers’ 89. The Man. City game might prove a stiffer test, the league leaders have conceded just one goal over the last six gameweeks, allowing opponents a league-best two ‘big chances’ and 10 SoT.  Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 8.4 for Calvert-Lewin.

Ilkay Gündogan (TOT, eve)

With six goals and an assist in the last five gameweeks, no player in any position has earned as many FPL points as Gündogan (56). No midfielder has landed more than his seven SoT, while only Salah and Mané (each 13) can better his 11 SiB. Six 'big chances' for the German ranks joint-best in the league, alongside Cavani. Nearly half a million managers have bought him this week as per our Transfer Stats feature. Over the last four gameweeks, only Man. Utd (13) have scored more goals than Man. City (12) and the Red Devils (13) are the only side to have fashioned more ‘big chances’ than the league leaders (12). Their total of 23 SoT is only bettered by Villa (24) and Man. Utd (26). Their first opponents Spurs have conceded four goals over the last four gameweeks, keeping just one clean sheet. Only six teams have conceded more shots than the North London club’s 50 over that period. Everton have conceded seven goals over the same period, keeping no clean sheets. Only West Brom (11) and Southampton (16) have shipped more goals over that time. Sheff. Lucas Digne (FUL, MCI)

Digne has picked up two assists in the last six gameweeks and only Shaw (three) has more in that time amongst FPL defenders. The Everton left-back ranks sixth with an expected assists figure (xA) of 0.78, while only Shaw (51) and Alexander-Arnold (64) have attempted more crosses than his 34. No teammate can better his six attempted assists. He is owned by just 4.9% of the top 100k as per our FPL Statistics feature making him a great differential. Everton have conceded eight goals over the last six gameweeks, allowing opponents 24 SoT and nine ‘big chances’. Fulham have scored just four goals over the last six gameweeks and only Southampton (three) have scored fewer. They are ranked 10^th for SoT (23) over that period. Man.
