Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolves and Burnley have excellent clean sheet potential this week which sees the Algorithm XI go big at the back with Alexander-Arnold, Tierney, Gabriel, Sá, Semedo and Mee. Only Robertson (10) has created more chances than Alexander-Arnold (nine) amongst defenders over the last four gameweeks and the right-back is also second for shots (seven).
Wolves have conceded just 17 goals this season and have the second-best defensive record in the league. Both Sá and Semedo are assured of minutes and are great entry points into their backline. Arsenal have kept 11 clean sheets with only Liverpool (13) and Man. City (15) faring better which makes Tierney and Gabriel great picks with plenty of attacking threat.
As the Stats Sandbox image above shows, Salah and Mané are in the top three for 'Expected Goals' (xG) amongst midfielders this season and with Jota a doubt their minutes are more assured. Raphinha has created 42 chances this season, only Salah (43), De Bruyne (44) and B. Fernandes (71) have created more amongst midfielders.
Lacazette is top amongst all Arsenal players over their last six matches for shots on target (SoT) (seven) and xG (3.88). Jiménez is also top for SoT (six) and xG (1.93) amongst all Wolves players over their last six matches and is rated at 100% to start as per our Predicted Lineups feature.
