Wolves and Chelsea have excellent projected odds of at least one clean sheet this week which sees the Algorithm XI double up on their defensive assets with Saïss, Coady, Rüdiger and T. Silva. Rüdiger's total of 28 shots is only bettered by Alexander-Arnold (37) and Cancelo (58) amongst defenders this season, and the German is only eight Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points (108) ahead of T. Silva (100) who has racked up three goals himself.
Saïss has a bit of goal threat as well, only Tarkowski (five) has been afforded more 'big chances' than the Moroccan (four) this season amongst defenders. Newcastle have shored up their defence significantly, conceding just two goals in the last four gameweeks. No side has conceded fewer shots on target (SoT) (seven) or 'big chances' (three) than the Magpies which makes Dubravka an excellent pick.
Raphinha's total of 49 chances created can only be beaten by B. Fernandes (75) amongst midfielders this season and the Brazilian has already racked up nine goals and two assists. Coincidentally, Ward-Prowse has also created the same number of chances (49) and has started every game for Southampton when available for selection.
Despite the lack of a double gameweek, Salah remains a great pick. Over the last four gameweeks, the Egyptian is top amongst midfielders for shots (19), shots in the box (SiB) (15), SoT (eight) and 'big chances' (six).
As the above image from our Match Stats feature shows, Coutinho has become Villa's talisman after joining the Midlands side in the January transfer window. Over the last five gameweeks, the Brazilian is top amongst Villa players for assists (two) and SoT (three) while only Digne (nine) has created more chances than his eight.
Jiménez has been involved in 67% of Wolves’ goals in home matches this season and his 25 shots, 19 SiB and 18 attempted assists are more than any other teammate has managed. Adams has been in great form with three goals in his last four matches. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, only Broja (11), Lacazette, Kane (each 12) and Ronaldo (13) have attempted more SiB than his 10, while only Ronaldo and Kane (each five) have been afforded more 'big chances' than his four.
