Headliner - Mohamed Salah (NFO)

Salah's brace against Leeds made it six goals in as many gameweeks for the 30-year-old, no midfielder has scored more over that period. The Egyptian international is also top for shots in the box (SiB) (18), 'big chances' (BC) (seven) and shots on target (SoT) (nine). He is the third most transferred-in player this week with over 200,000 managers bringing him as shown in the below image from our Transfer Analytics feature. Liverpool have scored 16 goals over the aforementioned period with only Arsenal (18) more prolific. The Merseyside outfit are also top for BC (22). Their visitors Forest have struggled defensively and have let in 14 goals with only Leeds (21) more porous. Meanwhile, only Leeds (81) and Bournemouth (85) have allowed opponents more SiB than their 74. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 7.2 for Salah.

Gabriel Jesus (SOU)

Jesus has been on fire since his return from injury, as the below image from our Match Stats feature shows the Brazilian international is top amongst Arsenal players over the last five matches for goals (four), 'Expected Goals' (xG) (3.5) and second for SoT (five). No side has scored more goals than Arsenal (18) over the last six gameweeks and the Gunners (94) trail only Chelsea (105) and Brighton (137) for shots. Meanwhile, only Brighton and Liverpool (22 each) have fashioned more BC than their 19. Their visitors Southampton have conceded 12 goals over the last six gameweeks with only Leicester (13), Forest (14) and Leeds (21) faring worse. Bournemouth, Fulham (18 each) and Leeds (25) are the only sides to have allowed opponents more BC than the Saints (17). Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.1 for Jesus.

Ollie Watkins (bre)

Watkins has been one of the league's form players over the last six gameweeks with six goals, no forward has taken more SiB (23), landed more SoT (16) or been afforded more BC (10) over that period. As the below image from our Fix Heatmaps feature shows, he has averaged 7.3 points per game in away matches since the restart and has scored six goals. Villa have found the back of the net 14 times with only Brighton (15), Liverpool (16) and Arsenal (18) scoring more. Their hosts Brentford have conceded 12 goals over the last six gameweeks and have kept just one clean sheet. The London side are ranked 19th for both shots conceded (115) and SoT conceded (42). Gabriel Martinelli (SOU)

Martinelli has scored three goals over the last six gameweeks, a total which only Salah (six) can better amongst midfielders. As the Stats Sandbox image below shows, he trails only the Egyptian international (18) for SiB (15) while Rashford and Salah (seven) each are the only midfielders to be afforded more BC than his four. Arsenal have scored 42 goals on home turf this season which can be bettered only by their title rivals Man. City (50). The Gunners are top for shots (285) and SoT (94) in home matches this season. Their opponents Southampton have conceded 23 goals in 15 away matches and have kept just three clean sheets on their travels. The Saints are ranked eighth for both shots conceded (192) and BC conceded (29) in away matches. Our Fix Algorithm currently projects a point score of 6.5 for Martinelli.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (NFO)

Alexander-Arnold has created 10 chances over the last six gameweeks and is top amongst defenders for BC created (five) and assists (three) over that period. Liverpool have conceded just eight goals with only Wolves (seven), Man. City (three) and Villa (two) more frugal. The Merseyside outfit are ranked fifth for SiB conceded (47) and second for shots conceded (64). Their opponents Forest have scored just six goals over the same period with only Southampton, Leicester and Man. Utd (five each) faring worse.
