The fixtures come thick and fast after the international break with two double gameweeks scheduled over the next four weeks. In this blog, the Fix Algorithm point projections for players in various positions are analysed to determine which assets you should be bringing in to your squad.
Pope (23.6) is the clear leader amongst goalkeepers by a significant margin, with Burnley the only side to have two doubles in the short term and an attractive fixture against Norwich as well. Managers shopping for a Ramsdale replacement need to look no further. Dubravka (18.3) is also favoured as the budget option.
Tierney (19.9) is projected to be the highest scoring defender with Cancelo (19.4) and T. Silva (19.3) also expected to fare well despite the lack of a double gameweek. The Burnley duo of C. Roberts (19.2) and Tarkowski (19.1) take fourth and fifth spot.
Midfielders dominate the overall point projections with Salah (27.7) the clear leader despite the lack of a double gameweek in the short term. De Bruyne (24.5), Mahrez (24.2) and Mané (24.2) also feature despite lack of doubles which underlines the fact that good assets from the top two sides should still be the primary target for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers. B. Fernandes (24.3) comes in third primarily due to the 10.1 projected points in double gameweek 33.
Despite two doubles in the next four gameweeks, Weghorst (17.8) ranks only sixth amongst forwards. Top spot goes to Ronaldo (24.1) with the Portugal international expected to benefit from the lack of European midweek fixtures. Despite any double, Kane (22.4) comes in second with his form simply too good to ignore. Vardy is expected to be fit after the international break and his projected score of 9.5 in gameweek 33 also heightens his appeal.
