Klaassen is an exceptionally versatile attacking player. Understandably, he has caught the eye of another Dutch, versatile former-player in Ronald Koeman. Klaassen's League record over the last two years is exemplary for a player that predominantly plies his trade in the number 10 role. Most Forwards would be happy to boast a goal and assist record that the Midfielder has. The Dutchman is equally talented at setting up goals, with astonishing vision for through-balls and crosses, as well as scoring them, with strong, accurate finishing skills. A keen advocate of tika-taka football, who encourages his teammates to play in such a fashion with cute lay-offs and clever movement for the return ball, he looks perfectly suited to Koeman's style of play and the English game. If Lukaku leaves, it will be interesting to see where he is deployed, considering Barkley favours a similar role as an attacking Midfielder.
