United, so he will be able to breathe a sigh of relief after returning to his boyhood club, Everton. With Lukaku going in the opposite direction, it is the perfect opportunity for Rooney to nail down a regular starting berth and rekindle the spark that has seen him score an astonishing 198 goals in 460 Premier League appearances. That record alone is worth it's weight in gold, and if Rooney gets starts, his confidence builds, and can get anywhere close to his 10+ year record, of a goal every 209 minutes, that could equate to 15+ goals over the season.
